In Romeo and Juliet we meet star crossed lovers caught in a war of family and honour. With The Fast and The Furious we meet star crossed drivers caught in a war of rubber and asphalt. What happens when the two meet in a head on collision? This absolute masterpiece of satirical comedy comes fully equipped with NOS.
I honestly do not want to spoil any parts of the show for you just because I had such a fantastic night going into it blind, but I will tell you scattered details that may or may not intrigue you: steering wheel choreography, Chevrolet broadsword, puppet chopper suppressing fire, homobromanticism, horny French Canadians, Hot Wheels rosary.
This show has Tokyo Drifted straight into my heart and I was left crushed that the show ended. Axandre Lemours does an amazing job as playing our stone cold lead Rom and opening the show with some sick one liners. Kyle Cameron plays opposite Axandre as Jules and delivers some of the most devastating lines with his tragic story. Michael Kosowan and Jeannie MacRae play various bit characters, but to call them bit characters puts them at a disservice, as no matter what role you saw them as, I guarantee you they are the fuel injectors of this production. There is no doubt that this small cast dedicated time and hard work to deliver such a high octane performance.
In the name of the Ferrari, the Bugatti, and the Maserati, I hope you grab your tickets soon before this show inevitably sells out. Congratulations to the cast and crew of The Vexed and The Vigorous for such an auto-erotic production!
